The 802 series have been manufactured for many years and continue to be the most popular model of the Geyer Style Hoyer horn. Through tired and tested engineering, the 801-L is suitable for advancing beginners as well as an ideal horn for professionals.
Yellow Brass is commonly used as the base metal for most brass instruments. A standard mix of 70 copper and 30 zinc helps to provide a sound that is focused with a solid core, which can be produced with little resistance. The Gold Brass lead pipe contains a higher percentage of copper, which adds an element of warmth and tonal depth, resulting in a rich and dark sound.
