About Ralph Peterson

Ralph Peterson is an American jazz drummer and band leader who has taught music at the legendary Berklee College of Music in Boston and University of Arts in Philadelphia. Born into a family of drummers, Peterson began on percussion at three years old. He later went on to work with Art Blakeley's Jazz Messengers for several years, and many other notable jazz artists such as Terence Blanchard, Donald Harrison, Walter Davis and many more throughout his drumming career.
