The Stage Artist Traditional was built for players who want the familiar feel of a nylon-string guitar with the practicality of a stage-ready electric design. Its solid cedar top produces warmth and clarity, while the chambered mahogany body adds extra resonance and a more substantial acoustic response. A flat ebony fingerboard and 52mm nut width maintain a traditional classical feel, making transitions between acoustic and amplified playing feel natural. Plus, the sculpted neck heel and deeper body contour improve upper-fret access and overall comfort, helping the guitar sit comfortably whether you're practising at home or performing live.

Natural amplified nylon-string tone

The Fishman co-developed Stage Pickup System is designed to capture a more authentic nylon-string character when plugged in. By combining an undersaddle pickup with internal body sensors, it delivers warmth, clarity, and balance without the overly sharp attack commonly linked with piezo systems. The onboard preamp gives you direct control over Volume, EQ, and Body Blend settings, making it easy to adapt your sound to different venues or recording setups. Whether you're playing through a PA, acoustic amp, or recording interface, the system helps retain the guitar’s natural response and detail.
