Deliver your amp's captivating tones in the studio, on the stage, and during practice without the need for a speaker cabinet. The Mesa Boogie CabClone provides you with three distinct cab simulations – closed back, open back, and vintage cab.
Switch to the closed back sim to deliver a slightly scooped midrange with plenty of upper harmonics. Its response simulates a 4x12 cabinet loaded with 60-watt speakers, making it perfect for heavily saturated rhythm and lead work.
The open back mode produces an upper harmonic shine, opening the sound up to create a striking three-dimensional sound. Perfect for clean and overdriven playing styles. Vintage cab delivers a darker and more compressed sound, delivering the best response for single note solos and creating fat, round leads.
If you ever wanted to practice with your amp in locations where loud sounds aren’t permitted or late at night, then you will love the headphone output. Simply plug in your favourite headphones and you’ll receive the same sound and feel of the direct out for you to enjoy.
The Mesa Boogie CabClone is more than just a cabinet simulator, offering stunning tones and plenty of control over your tone for studio and stage applications. Use its balanced direct output to connect to mixing consoles, preamps, or converters and deliver crystal clear tones for live and recording applications.
To ensure you’re always optimised for any environment, the additional ground/lift switch and phase switch lets you adjust the CabClone's signal to be unaffected by its surroundings or connected devices. A DI output control is also added, letting you fine tune the output level to match the input requirements of mic, instrument, and pro line inputs.
Along with its balanced direct out, the Mesa Boogie Cab Sim is also fitted with a thru jack output. This lets you connect a live speaker for monitoring you sound while recording. You an also mic up the connected cabinet to create more recording options. Either record via the direct out, via the mic'd cab, or via both of them at the same time.
The additional line out jack is unprocessed, delivering the raw sound direct from your amplifier. This output is ideal for creating a slave signal to boost the power on amps that don’t have that feature built-in. You can also use this output to send a direct feed to consoles and recorders.
Another great feature of the CabClone is the built-in internal load that can be bypassed when unneeded. This is perfect for capturing the direct signal of your amp without the need for a speaker to be connected. You can use the CabClone with any amplifier with a power rating of up to 150-watts, letting you turn your favourite amp into a powerful silent live, recording, or practicing tool.
