The Emperor V2 is a powerful modulation device with a range of controls to adapt the effect to exactly how you require. It utilises a true 3207 Bucket Brigade Chipset for a true analogue sound, and can re-create all manner of modulation effects. Chorus, vibrato, tremolo, rotary: all is possible with the Emperor V2.
The Emperor V2 has a tap tempo footswitch to let you select the exact speed effect you require, whether that is a slow and subtle chorus, or a fast rotary speaker emulation. The footswitch is complemented by a speed dial, while the pedal offers the potential to accept an expression pedal input for remote tempo control. This makes it a powerful live performance tool that can connect with the rest of your rig. An LED indicator light keeps you informed of the current running tempo, even if the pedal is bypassed.
Along with the chorus/vibrato mode selection toggle, the Emperor V2 also has a 3-way toggle to let you select the exact wave-type you require - sine/square/triangle. Between these 3 modes you can achieve all manner of modulation effects, including smooth shifting chorus, stuttery tremolo, quasi-flange, and much more.
The Emperor V2 has controls for Speed, Depth, EQ and Volume. These simple controls provide just enough power to control the effect in great detail, without any superfluous dials. The pedal can be switched to deliver a high quality buffered output (for driving long cable runs) or a true bypass output (perfect for maintaining an unaffected signal). Plugging a TRS splitter cable into the output jack is all it takes to create a true stereo output from the Emperor.
