Replacing the discontinued Beyer Opus 87 Snare Condenser Mic, the TGD57c is a condenser clip-on microphone for drums and percussion. Part of the new Beyerdynamic Touring Gear drum series, it is designed to operate at high pressure levels, give excellent impulse performance and maximum feedback rejection.

View Full DescriptionThe TG D57c has been crafted by Beyerdrynamic to produce sound which is clear, accentuated and palpable; to transmit the natural sound of your drums instead of just replicating it.
Whether with standing toms, snare drums or percussion instruments, the TG D57c's patented clip-on mount, integrated pre-amplifier and 72 mm long flexible gooseneck allow the condenser microphone to be mounted and ready in a flash. Its horizontal swivel joint ensures quick and easy, secure positioning relative to the sound source.
Specifically designed to be used as a drum mic, the expanded frequency range ensures faithful reproduction of all drum types whilst an elastic capsule suspension on the capsule housing protects against damage from drumstick strikes.
The new electronics provide increased level accuracy and guarantee a very high maximum sound pressure level - even with phantom powering below 44 V.
