Connect and control

There are 64 channels (in and out) over HDX or 32 channels over USB as well as digital I/O features like MADI, ADAT, S/PDIF. All the ins and outs you'll ever need. The front panel provides an easy way to control all these connections as well as an intuitive way to control the routing via the PC/Mac application. So long as your computer is the same network as the Gen 3, you can control its parameters. Connect easily with whatever DAW you use and record, playback, and mix with super low latency.

Top class level conversion

Impeccable conversion for your studio rack. The cutting-edge AD/DA converters have up to 136dB dynamic range. This gives you loads of headroom as noise levels get drastically reduced from regular recording devices. As a signal travels through to the mixing environment noise levels build up. Thanks to the converters high dynamic range, this is hugely reduced, resulting in a much higher quality of sound.

Ultra low latency

Thanks to HDX, the Orion 32 HD now operates at sub-millisecond latency. This means that your recordings are at a pinpoint level of accuracy, resulting in better timings and tighter mixes. The driver that runs HDX is also extremely stable - get incredible results no matter what operating system you run.
