Direct control across your DAW

Panorama CS12 connects directly with supported DAWs through their native control surface APIs for stable communication and deep software integration. Core mixer controls including pan, mute, solo, record arm and stereo width remain available from dedicated hardware controls while channel colours are reflected through illuminated buttons.

Track selection, plugin window access and transport commands can all be handled from the controller, helping you stay focused on your session instead of moving back and forth between hardware and mouse. The display updates with plugin names, parameter values and page information so you always know what is currently assigned.

Shape plugins with greater precision

The controller supports both DAW instruments and third party plugins through dedicated plugin slot buttons and an extensive library of advanced plugin maps. Home pages place commonly used controls within easy reach while linked detail pages provide access to deeper editing.

Logic Pro supports up to 256 plugin parameters while Cubase, Nuendo, Fender Studio Pro and Reaper support up to 1,024 parameters. Fine control mode increases resolution across the motorised fader and rotary controls, giving smoother adjustment for detailed settings such as EQ frequency. Custom page layouts, parameter names and colours can also be created using the included Nektarine mapping application.

Mix with responsive hardware controls

The long throw 100 mm Alps motorised fader follows the selected mixer channel automatically and supports touch sensing for automation workflows. You can activate automation modes directly from the hardware including touch based options that only write automation while the fader is being touched.

Click and Control allows supported DAW parameters to be selected with the mouse before handing control straight to the motorised fader or pan encoder. Dedicated send controls also make it easy to adjust routing, pre or post fader settings and destination options from the controller without interrupting your mix.

Navigate projects with less interruption

Panorama CS12 includes dedicated transport buttons plus function encoders for zoom, playhead movement, clip gain, tempo selection and more. Marker creation, deletion and navigation are available directly from the hardware while loop points can be adjusted and moved along the timeline without reaching for the computer.

Plugin preset browsing is also supported when presets are available inside your DAW. The controller can even be used at a distance from your computer with a suitable USB cable, giving you the freedom to record, edit or adjust sounds from a more comfortable position in your workspace.
